Foodsbury is a pleasant shop-house eatery on the edge of a Shah Alam residential estate. Possibly worth the drive from KL; the food selection features sufficient temptations & the setting is conducive for at least an hour of chilling out.
Lamb carbonara (RM12), the top pasta pick. The spaghetti’s well-executed, firm to the bite & flavorsome; the meat might look meager, but this is ultimately every ounce a hot, hearty meal, more than reasonable for the price. Foodsbury puts a twist on its coffee-based beverages; this cappucino with goji berry extract & vanilla makes for a sweet choice in every sense.
Salted caramel mille-crepe topped with almonds (RM12), certifiably crowd-pleasing.
Hot blueberry cinnamon cake (RM8), less memorable, but that’s OK; still lots of other stuff on the menu, including key lime pies & nutella pancakes.
